I've located a prayer room on the ship. I'm curious if anyone would be interested in a service or a sermon? Bear in mind this would be to my Heavenly Father, the Holy Lord, He Who Watches, and no other gods that are worshiped. I'll also try to answer any questions about His Everlasting Majesty, though I can't promise my answers will be sufficient.

Interruptions and blasphemy will not be permitted.

humans possess beauty they don't understand. The power of choice, and independence.

Well, playing along with the idea he's real for a moment.... Lucifer hates us because we're imperfect. Unworthy. Un...angelic.

And we are. By and large humankind is stupid and ignorant and ugly. Which is why so many of them need to believe in a god--they think it gives meaning to their existence.

The Fallen, nor His Lord, don't require your belief to be real.

Humans have choices. They have fear, and hope, and in some particularly majestic cases, unbreakable spirits. They have art and culture and music. They have love.

Yes, we have all those things. Which we manage to screw up more often than not. Or maybe that's just me.

There's no need to bring a god into it, though. Good or bad, we are what we are without divine intervention. The concept of god is just something people use to fill the empty holes in their lives.

You can embrace him or not; such is your decision.

That's a decision I made a long time ago and, nebbish alleged angels aside, I see no reason to change my mind now.
