003 + THE LORD HATH HIS WAY IN THE WHIRLWIND AND THE STORM [video]
[Castiel is in the greenhouse.]
The demon Shendu has been smote and cast to oblivion; he won't bother this ship any longer, nor his host. I hope any sustained injuries have been taken care of. Thank you, jailor, for feeding my vessel while it hungered. And to Eddie and his associate, for freeing me from that cell. Its power was suffocating.
Does the cafeteria serve hamburgers and.. [he pauses, considering the the words] "root beer"?
[PRIVATE to the ADMIRAL]
All I know about you is your negligence and great strength, but I see no harm in requesting a number of. I can pick up a tree or bush of any size, weight or height and any place on this ship, so that won't be a concern. I suppose you'll probably ignore this. I won't be offended.
[Castiel details a lengthy list of plants that require all kinds of habitats and climates, from your classic chrysanthemum and wildflowers to venus fly traps, massive redwoods and parasitic vines. He knows all of their scientific names, of course. He's shooting for the moon here.]
[PRIVATE to ARTHAS]
You're no demon. Are you one of purgatory's children?
[PRIVATE to HOFFMAN and BUFFY]
I politely request you not banish me.

[Castiel is waiting. He has his key, which looks a little like a pocket bible.]
Just so you know, this body can't die, even in Zero, when I inhabit it.

I'm not going to kill him.
[He keeps his voice even. Cooperation is good. He's going to keep his temper in check.]
Re: SPAM
[He takes one deep breath - believe in your vessel, Castiel, he/it hasn't let you down yet, after all. But if he does now, well--]
How do you want to do this?
SPAM
Do you need to be in a cell to let him speak, or will the hallway work just as well?
Re: SPAM
[His biggest concern is that Arthas will lock him/them in there, and being in there for hours or days was painful, but if no one comes down here.....]
[He sets his shoulders and opens an empty cell door with his key. Then, he pushes it all the way open, welding it with holy magic to the wall behind it. With another breath, he steps inside, and there's the familiar spill of light and he's out.]

His eyes never leave Castiel's host.]</i
Re: SPAM
What did you do to Castiel?
SPAM
[Yet.]
I'm not a demon. I just want to talk, and apparently I can't do that without your angel being suppressed.
Re: SPAM
What do you want?
SPAM
[He leaned against a divider wall, a non-aggressive pose but not exactly leaving the exit open either.]
I want to ask what your agreement with it is.
Re: SPAM
I know something creepy when I see it. I'm not exactly some virgin when it comes to this supernatural stuff, if you couldn't tell.
He asked me to help with God's divine plan. I told him to protect my family. He runs around in my body, and my family is safe.
Why do you care?
SPAM
[SOME armor is normal, but black armor with spikes and skull is still not. So, basically a lie.]
What do you get out of it? How is this fair?
Re: SPAM
Life isn't fair.
Look, I don't need your help.

[Jimmy obviously thinks that pigs flying and hell freezing over or some combination is more likely.]

[Decidedly not.]

I'm trying to make sure it doesn't happen again! The Light is no more trustworthy than the legion, nothing with a mind of its own is!
Re: SPAM
We're nothing alike. And I don't know what the hell possessed a thing like you, but it wasn't an angel. Castiel's saved my family before, and he means well, and if he has to run around in my body to save the world that's what he's allowed to do. I trust him to leave when he says he's going to leave. I don't care what you think about that. You don't know a thing about me, and you know even less about him.
Thanks for the vacation. If you don't mind, I'm going back to sleep now.
[his eyes dart towards the open door.]

[He spins on his heel away from Jimmy and pulls hard enough on the door out of zero to make it bounce on its lock - but it doesn't open. Not without a warden item.
His breath hisses out between his teeth and he rests his head against it briefly as his hand drops. He's not going to turn around and watch Castiel come back, that will only make it worse.]
Re: SPAM
[When he stands again, the posture is familiar. he carefully keeps his warm relief sheltered away, face twisted in a scowl at Arthas. He strides down the hall and opens the door, leaving it that way. He's nowhere to be seen when the Death Knight actually exits.]
