[Castiel details a lengthy list of plants that require all kinds of habitats and climates, from your classic chrysanthemum and wildflowers to venus fly traps, massive redwoods and parasitic vines. He knows all of their scientific names, of course. He's shooting for the moon here.]

How does one simply return to their life after being inhabited by an angel of the lord?

I have an archangel for comparison. The personality disparities are immense, but I realized that within a minute of meeting you; you're still on your baby steps.

[Castiel's eyes go wide at that. He tries to quickly shuffle through his four oldest brothers, but he's different enough from all of them that he can't narrow it down. Especially considering that, if it was from his universe, they'd all be pretty difficult to get to. Come on, Castiel. Who would come to a place like this? Might they have come at their deaths?]

[Castiel pulls away from the camera and tries to work this out. It's seems as if he's totally forgotten he's on the line with Eddie at all. He closes his eyes and lifts his chin, face slightly tensed in concentration. The barge is disturbing his angel sense, too. Nothing - not a whiff or smell of who must have passed through previously.]

[He looks back into the camera, more serious this time.]

[Eddie watches. He knows what Castiel's doing. He still remembers what it's like to feel for people, from that one occasion with The Doctor.]

[Castiel's eyes narrow with anger. There's a pop of static on the device.]

Who was it, Eddie. Tell me which of my brothers was here.

[Eddie doesn't look worried.]

I see the importance of an answer. I do. But your brother came to the barge on his own volition, for himself. His presence here shouldn't disturb or distress you in any way.

[Only one of his brothers would voluntarily leave the petty battles over heaven and hell. And this is a place he would like, after all. It's just his kind of game, in all those strange kind of ways he likes to play.]

[Whether Eddie meant to give him the answer or not, Castiel settles. The man's arrogance rankles, though.]

Do not be so presumptuous as to assume you can understand the business of the Heavenly Host.

[One thing's for sure: he doesn't like the man's sheer arrogance, how he thinks he can understand Castiel, or, even more laughably, an archangel. He lips quirk into a small frown of disapproval.]

You withhold information knowing its importance and personal value, then withhold any reason for doing so. This is suspicious behavior.

I don't intentionally confuse you, Castiel. But I admittedly don't mind it either.

Why would you withhold this information from me, and then not tell me why you would not tell me?
